Tafseer Surah An-Nasr

Surah Al-Nasr is a short chapter but the message is very big.

It was revealed at the time when the religion had been completed and people were entering Islam in waves/multitudes.

"إِذَا جَاءَ نَصْرُ اللَّهِ وَالْفَتْحُ"

When Allah's help and opening/victory came.

"وَرَأَيْتَ النَّاسَ يَدْخُلُونَ فِي دِينِ اللَّهِ أَفْوَاجًا"

And you saw the people entering into the religion of Allah in armies/multitudes.

After success Allah gave 3 commands:

"فَسَبِّحْ بِحَمْدِ رَبِّكَ وَاسْتَغْفِرْهُ"

Its meaning:

1. Sabbih, remain engaged in the work of Allah - keep serving the religion
2. Bi-hamdi Rabbik - keep recognizing your Lord - in every state keep Allah present in your heart
3. Wastaghfirhu - because every moment of success is a trial. Allah tests by giving and also tests by taking. Keep yourself in the protection of Allah.

Every success's reason is Allah only. This blessing is not by the strength of the arm until the Bestower God grants it.

When the religion was completed then the work to be done now was this: remain connected with Allah, recognize Allah, do His gratitude, and remain engaged in His work. Because only He is the Being who gives success.

After success also adopt humility and keep asking for His special protection.
